Become a Doorkeeper of ATCM

I would rather be a
doorkeeper in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
Psalm 84:10 (NIV, 1984)

The duties of the biblical doorkeeper were multi-faceted. The doorkeeper would make sure the doors of the temple were faithfully opened to those desiring to enter both day and night. They were entrusted with receiving the tithes and offerings that were brought to the temple as well to assure that the temple resources were maintained appropriately. The duties of a doorkeeper, while considered menial by most, were critical to the ongoing ministry of the temple.

As a recurring donor who financially supports ATCM on a regular basis, you serve as a DoorKeeper of this life-changing ministry to those bound by addiction.

Your support allows anyone desiring a new life to be greeted with an open door to experience the love and grace of God. Your gifts allow provision of food, housing, Bibles, training materials and , in many cases, clothing for those coming directly from incarceration with a yearning to experience true freedom.

Your gifts allow students to be provided with male and female counselors in their respective programs who daily model how a Christian life is supposed to look and sound. DoorKeepers kept the temple in the business of doing what God had ordained it to do. ATCM DoorKeepers provide the resources that allow God’s word to be shared continually in order that young lives might be changed for eternity.

Chuck Costa

Our friend Chuck Costa loved the idea that Adult & Teen Challenge MidSouth (ATCM) exists to help people regardless of their background and financial status to find hope beyond their addiction through a relationship with God.

In his honor, we’ve created the community of Charles Costa “funders” – those supporters who make the commitment to give monthly, either online or by check, in order to sustain and ensure men and women in dire poverty have the opportunity for this region’s finest recovery program.
